Our services are based in the Positive Behaviour Support and Therapeutic Supports space. Our services can be self funded or funded through the NDIS.
We are also a fully mobile allied health provider. This means that we come to you. We service the Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock, and Port Stephens areas.
Mindspring are registered NDIS providers.
If you or someone you care for is displaying behaviours of concern we can provide support to understand the purpose of the behaviour and find more appropriate ways to achieve this.
Positive Behaviour Support works to reduce or eliminate difficult behaviours and increase quality of life. Positive Behaviour Support is an individualised and comprehensive approach that can be used to teach and encourage individuals to behave in new ways. The approach makes challenging behaviour less likely to happen because it removes things that trigger, encourage or reward that behaviour.
We will work closely and collaborate with individuals and their support teams to develop evidence based and tailored strategies that meet specific needs, foster independence, enhance wellbeing and create supportive skilled environments.
We have male and female clinicians that provide outreach services.
